This And That

Knowing something is not understanding anything important for the whole life. Doing something good to most people doesn't always mean what is really good and beneficial to the doer in essence or more. Then, what we think and see is not what we factually feel good or pleased with but we pretend to be so. No more reason logically only reason either ignorantly or egotistically. This very world is needy. This is burning with this and that, giving countless reasons and logic. We are crying for the moon but the latter is also crying for us. It gives people so many pleasure with its pure moonlight, surrounding countless stars beside it but it has no more its own power to satisfy itself. If we were in its place, what and how will we feel and why? No exact and concrete answer is there but many a one with no more pleasure, to it. Living is not for worry but for happiness in mind and body, through doing what is ever right. Saying is nothing, but doing is something effective. Just thinking of and believing in something good or bad, don't mean understanding and feeling pleased with it forever and ever. We people want others to do or struggle with things, for which we ourselves have no taste. That is the way it is. What will happen to us if we ourselves are to live for what we are calling and saying good or more? In this image, while the lake is dutifully keeping a little water with its poor wall, we people just see it has a little water to use and then it is out of use but don't think how and why we should prepare and rebuild it to store much more. Just thinking not understanding. We have many answers to everything. The answer is just this and that.

Climb Or Life-cliff?

It was six o' clock. Many people were going where there and everywhere. It was raining and getting dark more and more. Along the way, the sound of streaming stream was a close friend. While everything around except the sound of steps was silent, a heavy breath became a loud noise. Both our knees and our throats were shaking and burning with thirsty while our stomachs crying for food. Suddenly, came out a weary voice: OK, buddies, let's take a rest for a moment. No argument nor reply to it among us. Why? Everybody was ready to have a rest. Yes, at that time, we were climbing up to the second highest and the holiest mountain of Srilanka: Sri Pada, where the Lord Buddha reached and left his footprint. As a matter of fact, when we sat down, we had been climbing up to it for about over 2 hours. So cliff. Dog-tired. Sometimes, I felt I couldn't go on anymore and it would be better to go back. ''I can't go anymore'' I thought. But I could. During that time, a flash of thought came into my mind again and over: life is nothing but climbing, success in life is none but the climb. So cliff and so complicated. We might fall down over and over while striving for what we believe in our life as if we are to take rest again and again at the time of climbing up to this mountain. Once we give up our faith, we become weak and lose heart. We can, on the contrary, go on even though so tired and weak, should we keep our faith and will strong and fresh ever, believing in our strength. My mind was full of such countless thought. But it is true. Why? We could reach that mountain and pay homage to the Buddha's footprint. Only strong mind or faith in our goal, do we need to get what we want. It may take us several times to hold our ends.
